The main problem with the pedals is that they are not of the highest quality out there. The Alloy material and Boron axle make the pedals lose a little integrity. This means that they don’t last in perfect condition as much as other pedals may last.
This pedal squeaking sound may not change the experience when it comes to performance but may annoy most riders – especially if they are not expecting an additional anxiety-producing sound to come off their bicycle.
A good commuting bike needs to be light to provide excellent performance. The Absolute 3.0 is not that bike.

Is the Fuji Absolute 3.0 a Top-Notch Bike to Have?
The Fuji Absolute 3.0 commuting bike is not a bike for the off-road lover or the fast-riding enthusiast. However, it can deliver some decent experiences for those who will use it taking into account that it is more a city-riding bike than anything else.
Surely, it can be used for light off-road recreational biking, or even for road-tripping cycling at high speeds – but as it is not made for that precisely, the performance of the Absolute 3.0 will obviously not be the best. But if you want it for casual riding, commuting, and on-road recreational use – then you will find it perfect for sure.
